stevehowarth Posted 13 September , 2014 Share Posted 13 September , 2014 Apologies if this has been flagged up else where on the Forum. Tunstill's Men is a day to day account of a company raised in the Craven district of Yorkshire. Its been closely researched by Skipton teacher Dr. Bill Smith and a series of plays based on the theme are being acted out at various venues in the area. Its got some excellent material on local recruitment meetings. The Company formed part of the 10th (Service) Battalion of the Dukes. Well worth a look and a visit to the play. http://tunstillsmen.blogspot.co.uk/2014_07_01_archive.html
Andy Wade Posted 17 September , 2014 Share Posted 17 September , 2014 I'll be there on Saturday in funeral attire and I'm looking forward to it. It's had some great reviews. By the way, did you receive those Keighley news pictures I sent to David B. a couple of weeks ago? Edited to add: If anyone is thinking of coming along on Friday 19th or Saturday 20th September (this coming weekend), you can buy tickets online here: Tunstill's Men ; Great War Promenade Performance
