George Armstrong Custer Posted 21 July , 2008 Share Posted 21 July , 2008 Anyone come across this intriguing sounding title? I don't have a copy, but the blurb sounds interesting: 'The Kaiser's orders and medals were looted in 1945, and sold to a dealer in Berlin. This is the fascinating story of the British Officer who purchased them and exhibited them to raise money for various good causes. As the years passed, whenever he needed money, he would sell them to collectors. They were subsequently discovered and reunited by the author.' The book is in laminated covers and is a limited edition of 1,000 copies and I assume is self-published. I have to say, though, that I always thought that Bill's bits and bobs were still where he left them at Doorn when he died in 1941. ciao, GAc
