I have a book which my wife gave me when we first meet called Selected Poems by Rupert Brooke.

First Edition was published March 1917, this one I have is a second impression April 1917.

Is there are any other forum member's who also own a copy

Regards

Chris

You're obviously a lucky fellow on several scores, Chris. I have the Sidgewick & Jackson "Collected Poems" (July 1918), with a Memoir by Eddie Marsh, but not, alas, the earlier "Selected Poems".

Its a beautiful little book Mick, about A 5 in size, it runs to 75 pages, with a slate blue cover, and the much published photo of R.B on the inside.

Is it a rare item ?

Don't know, I'm afraid, Chris. You could perhaps check for copies on that online auction site thingy or on Abe Books. The "Collected Poems" is the same size, also slate-blue, and also with the famour portrait pic inside — but with 159 pages.
