armourersergeant Posted 9 October , 2008 Share Posted 9 October , 2008 Not sure if this has been flagged but Nick Lloyd's book 'Loos 1915' which I found a really good read is out in paperback and Amazon are selling it at £8.57. The book takes a look at the higher command level, rather then the man in the trench and Nick is by no means complimentary of Haig and other commanders but it is, IMO, a balanced look at the battle.
