sar2jec Posted 5 March , 2004 Share Posted 5 March , 2004 I have a group of medals to a Cpl. Robert H. Davren kia 11/11/1914. I have some information from the CWGC and Soldiers died but I was wondering if anyone out there had any further info about him and the events of 11/11/1914. Many thanks, Jonathan
Guest Hill 60 Posted 5 March , 2004 Share Posted 5 March , 2004 Jonathan - Have you tried Alaistair Cumming at rhqthehighlanders@btopenworld.com or (on Wednesdays only) Lt Col Angus Fairrie on 0131-310-8702? Both men work at the regimental museum at Fort George and although they probably won't have info on your man they may have info on what was happening on the dates you mention. Guest Hill 60 Posted 5 March , 2004 Share Posted 5 March , 2004 Jonathan - No problem. Be warned though, they are short-staffed and take a fair while to get back to you so don't be too impatient.
