Guest Stokes74 Posted 7 March , 2004 Share Posted 7 March , 2004 I am trying to trace my Granddad in the first world war, and have gone down all the usual channels(eg N/A, service papers Etc.) I haven't got his medals and can not be sure of his reg number, but have found a possible match with:Private William Geogre Stokes no.2668 KRRC but I can't find any more information to confirm whether this is my granddad or not. Can any help me or suggest my next move? I do know his home address and next of kin information, and he was definately in the Kings Royal Rifles Corps.
