Records of the Wounded

I know from the Daily Telegraph and Territorial Service Gazette that 2123 Pte. A.J. Williams , London Regiment, was wounded in April 1916

This there anyway to trace where he might have been when this occured ? My Grandfather was supposedly fighting with the Canadians and was treated in a Canadian Hospital in England. He later transferred to the Labour Corps from where he was demobbed

A quick check shows that the Canadains were fighting at St Eloi craters with the British in April 1916
