Stebie9173 Posted 17 November , 2008 Share Posted 17 November , 2008 Isn't this the Bounty paid for Regulars who would normally be "Time expired", but continued in the Army under the Military Services Act 1916 ? Steve.
Myrtle Posted 28 November , 2008 Share Posted 28 November , 2008 Isn't this the Bounty paid for Regulars who would normally be "Time expired", but continued in the Army under the Military Services Act 1916 ? Steve. Steve This sounds probable. I'm just doing more research on one of The Rhayader men whose service papers have survived. He enlisted in 1912 and was said to continue in service under something that looks like M.S.A. (?) and then there is the Awarded Bounty form dated 18.07.1917. Do you know what the M.S.A. (?) stands for and who would have received the bounty? Regards Myrtle Just found this thread BOUNTY which answers my questions.
