Guest Brisbane Bob Posted 11 March , 2004 Share Posted 11 March , 2004 Arthur F Stacey (b 1887/8 Islington) was blinded and sent to a rehab hospital, where I may be able to unearth his records. The only thing I know he survived the war and was in the Middlesex regiment. One hospital I have been advised of is St. Dunstans in Sussex, are there others perhaps closer to his home town where he would have gone for rehab and may still have records of him in their archives? No army record seems to have survived of him at the PRO. Any advice would be greatfully received. thanks in advance Bob
