hedleywilliams Posted 13 March , 2004 Share Posted 13 March , 2004 My Grandfather , Geoffrey Brian Nathan, was with the King's Royal Rifles for the duration, his role being maintaining lines of communication. We believe that he was involved in a number of campaigns including the "retreat from Arras" We would really appreciate help on 1. The history of the King's Royal Rifles 2. Information on the retreat from Arras which we assume was the 4th phase of the Battle of the Somme in 1918 Any help would be great !
