Greetings all,

I just received this book in the mail today. It is a collection of text and uncommon photographs that are arranged by topic or theme. These topics include Daily Life and Combat, Trenches and Dugouts, Weapons and Equipment, Death in the Trenches, Mining Warfare, Artillery, Tanks, Animals on the Front and The landscape after the war. There are 18 chapters or topics in all.

It is 256 pages with many photographs and was published by Schiffer Books. I bought it from Amazon for $42.00.

I would recommend it, but I am wondering if others have seen it.

Thank you,

John

Might anyone have a 2 or 3 scanned sample pages from this book? As I have the mail order such books unseen, a glimpse of the book would be most helpful.
