Guest Desmond6 Posted 23 March , 2004 Share Posted 23 March , 2004 Standing in Waterstones today, flicking through a new? book about Ypres. Find an entry from Royal Dublin Fusiliers officer claiming that the British attack at Langemark August 16/1917 was 'blown' by a Sgt Philips who deserted to German lines with warning of forthcoming attack? Anyone heard this one before?
