myvoodoochild Posted 4 February , 2009 Share Posted 4 February , 2009 Hello. I'm looking into my great grandfather, John Arthur March, who fought in World War One. With the Durham Light Infantry, Northumberland Fusiliers & Royal Defence Corps. He was born on 29th May 1895 and was born in Leicester. Any help would be much appreciated. Take care, Martin
Chris_Baker Posted 4 February , 2009 Share Posted 4 February , 2009 Hello Martin I recommend that you visit the "Researching a soldier" at The Long, Long Trail website. There's a link to it at top-left of this page. Talks you through what you need to do to find out about your GGF. Good luck.
