Guest David Spencer Posted 11 February , 2003 Share Posted 11 February , 2003 I have just got the results of some research for: Herbert Leonard Goodwin Private Service numbers 8262, 70142, 5820260 Suffolk Regiment, 1st and 2nd Battalions Unfortunately the service records did not survive WW2. Any information anybody has would be gratefully received. I am particularly interested in how to obtain details of the medal roll for the India General Service Medal, if it exists, and the sort of information it may contain? I was hoping there would be a medal roll somewhere similar to that at the PRO. Do you know of one - you will have to excuse my ingnorance here - I paid a researcher to perform a PRO search.
