David Filsell Posted 18 February , 2009 Share Posted 18 February , 2009 I think what has been missed about this a book is that its a great, simple, introduction to the offensives and a very useful "ready reckoner" for checking key dates and etc before plunging into, say Kitchen's excellent book. I do know that Ian Passingham had pretention to write to produce such a book - not quite Janet and John or Ladybird, but simple and to the point. For these reasons I think it well worthwhile.
