David B Posted 11 April , 2009 Share Posted 11 April , 2009 As promised in my thread about dum-dum ammunition I have reading the above book and except for three (at my count) minor errors (dumdum's being one of them) the book provides a chilling account of the air-raids over London and the SE Counties iin 1917/1918. It is full of fact (I cant dispute that) and is a well documented history of the raids, including the terror the population experienced - standing out in the street watching the Gothas fly over was a nono but people still did it, and quite often paid the penalty. The book is soft cover 349 pages with another 50 odd pages of referencesand issued by Doubleday UK. UK price 11.99 pounds David
