Three Graves at the front of the Cemetery,T.Donohoe,D.Martin and W.Thorpe in the CWGC graves, Robert Digby is at the rear of the photo, (you can just make out the CWGC head stone) if you have read his story you will know that he was buried away from his comrades, recently Robert was shifted from the side of the graveyard to where he is now, also Pte R.Russell 2nd Bn Munster Fusiliers died 04/10/1918 was also also laid to rest in this graveyard. I have no information on this grave.

They were not all shot at the same time, three shot at same time, then the fourth, but that does not explain why Digby is buried in a separate plot, as can be seen in Joe's photograph there appears to have been sufficient space.

Interestingly another soldier (Pte Russell of the Royal Munster Fusiliers) was buried in the cemetery in 1918 but his grave was subsequently lost - his grave is inscribed "Known to be buried in this cemetery".

For what ever reason CWGC placed the head stone beside Digby.
