Ghost Posted 22 June , 2009 Share Posted 22 June , 2009 No idea of the type of people who touch up smoke. Have you thought about using a hair dryer to melt the glue? Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't. Alan
per ardua per mare per terram Posted 22 June , 2009 Share Posted 22 June , 2009 If they are stuck firmly you might run the risk of damaging them but learning nothing from the backs.
ph0ebus Posted 23 June , 2009 Author Share Posted 23 June , 2009 Hi all, Did some more scanning last night. Only one more ship which I think predates WWI, but maybe you'll know better. The rest are renderings of soldiers. Would it be better to start a separate thread on those in Soldiers, or add them here? -Daniel
ph0ebus Posted 23 June , 2009 Author Share Posted 23 June , 2009 Hi all, Here's the Anchor Liner 'Astoria'. This is the pre-Great War one, right? -Daniel

Hello, I thought so. That ship has an interesting look about her, as many ships do built around the switch from sail to steam. I will start a thread now in the Soldiers forum for the soldier postcards...consider this an open invitation to come along if you are interested and have a look! -Daniel
