Hello All

I've just purchased a trio off ebay for a Cpl F Beanland of the West Riding Regiment; his serial number was 10705. Does anybody know the batch numbers issued to each battalion?

Also, I've had a look on the PRO MiC search engine and although it has a couple of Beanlands (unusual surname), it does not seem to recognise him even when his full details are transcribed and both a 'Fuzzy' and 'Advanced' search carried out: it alternates between a John F and Albert Beanland.

I remember a thread dealing with the unorthodox results often displayed when others have tried to access MiCs on-line, and was wondering whether anyone has found a foolproof method of getting the right card?
