Recently came back to collecting after a long, too long lay off and cannot believe the prices! Anyway one of my first aquisitions was a very nice 14 Star Trio to 8670 Sgt George H Wright 2nd Notts and Derby. Came with some cracking photographs of Wright as a L/Cpl in India and a post WW1 reunion picture with Vets wearing MM pairs and some QSA, IGS in evidence as well! Struck gold when I got hold of his MIC as it clearly states "Pris. of War". I would like to know if any of the Forester's collectors on the Forum could fill in some details for me. I expect somebody may have a list which includes Wright which would tell me date of capture and repatriation? Any information gratefully received Planning to look him up on the 1901 census tonight.
