Who is Everard Wyrall ?

I know nothing about him apart form his prolific writing. I presume it's a real name. If you read a couple of his books, you'll see he writes very much to a formula. Nothing wrong with this of course, but it probably meant he could trot out his various commissions at a fair old rate.

There are indications that Reginald Everard Wyrall died in Dec 1932. If that is so (can someone confirm?) one assumes he must have had a team of writers working for him?

I am sure that I have read somewhere that he did indeed have a team working for him.

Off the top of my head, I believe his history of the 50th (Northumbrian) Division was his last work.

When he died he had more than one in progress, including the King's Liverpools. I believe that during or shortly after WW1 he worked for the Army Historical Branch, hence he had access to War Diaries etc.
