Hi Everyone

Really need the CD! Could someone please look up Samuel George Short for me please? He was killed in October 1918 serving with the Essex Reg.

"Soldiers Died....." give the additional information that Pte. Short was born, enlisted and resident at Grimsby, and that he was formerly 107328, Sherwood Foresters.

How common is it to have medals named to a soldiers enlistment Regiment and not to the one with which he served?
