Patrick ODwyer Posted 28 April , 2004 Share Posted 28 April , 2004 If a soldier was discharged prior to the outbreak of war and then went out to the colonies, re-enlisted in 1914 and served in the Colonial forces, would his original service papers still be at the PRO or would they have been retrieved / re-activated as they were for those who returned to British units?
