Army Cyclist Corps

I have a man who enlisted in September 1914 into the DCLI, transferred to the Royal Irish Fusiliers and then to the Army Cyclist Corps all in the space of a month. He was posted to Gallipoli in November with the ACC. Does anyone know which Cyclist Corps units were in Gallipoli at this time?

Sounds as though he was in 5th or 6th Bns RIF and was then in 10th (Irish) Division's cyclist company. The Div landed on Gallipoli in early August 1915.

There have been previous threads on the ACC if you want to learn more.

Thanks Charles

Just checked his service record again and he was in the 5th RIF.

The Kent Cyclist Battalion went to Gallipoli in 1915.
