Mark Hone Posted 1 May , 2004 Share Posted 1 May , 2004 Edited highlights: 1st March: Support 'Pig and Whistle' Langemarck (Surely a trench, not the local pub) 3rd : Trenches, Poelcapelle 7th Whitemill camp, Elverdinghe 23rd Train Peselhoek to Corbie 24th German attack at Maricourt 26th Rearguard action at Bray, Morlancourt and Buire sur L'Ancre Until 31st in various positions near Buire 31st -9th May Lahoussoye and later line at Somme Canal, Corbie 9th Bus Querrieux to Acheux 9th May to 5th June: Alternate between Hedeauville and line at Aveluy Wood or Bouzincourt.
