The CDROM version of "Soldiers Died" says he enlisted in Birmingham. I imagine this is a typo for Bermondsey. Could anyone with the original printed version confirm this please? I've got the 1988 Hayward & Son fascimile edition of SDITGW for the London Regiment, and in that it does actually state born Bermondsey, enlisted Birmingham, place of residence Bermondsey for Charles William Jewell.
