Remembered today

Today I am remembering Pte. George Joseph Hester, 10892. 2nd Bn South Wales Borderers.

George was KiA on 14th May 1915 in Gallipoli.

George is my Great-Great Uncle..........I know very little about George, only that he was a South London lad doing his bit for King and Empire. In fact I didn't even know George existed until about 6 months ago - but at least today he has someone to remember him.

So, to George and all those who died on the 14th May I salute you and shall be raising a glass later today in honour and rememberance.
