SFayers Posted 17 May , 2004 Share Posted 17 May , 2004 Hi Andy, I don't have access to the SDGW cds, but from the CWGC website here are his details: Serjeant Matthew Barrass, 65992, 49th Battery, 40th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. His name is on Bay 1 of the Arras Memorial - presumably he has no known grave. The 40th Brigade RFA was part of the 3rd Division during the war.
