Annette Burgoyne Posted 20 May , 2004 Share Posted 20 May , 2004 Hi Can any South Lancs expert tell me the Medal Roll ref. for the roll that hold the following set of Regimental numbers 34598-34922. I have spent the last few weeks looking for King's Shropshires in the M.I.C.'s on-line and have noticed that this batch of South Lancs numbers are all ex K.S.L.I. I believe that most of these men came from the 6th Battalion K.S.L.I., this battalions war diary records that a draft of 231 men left on 3rd March 1919 for the 2nd Battalion South Lancs. I am hoping to have a quick look at the South Lancs Victory/British Medal roll that holds this batch of numbers when I visit PRO soon. Thanks in advance Annette
