Help Needed, Possibly from Mr Derek Robertson ?

Good Day, I send this blog to ask for help from possibly Mr D Robertson.

Basically I been after a book for an elderly family member for a very long time and have tried in earnest to find it. It has been listed on amazon once but I notice that only recently a Mr D Robertson has submitted an image of the book to amazon. I have searched the net and notice this person is listed as a member of this site (whether its the same one, i don't know) ... I was wondering if he could contact me or reply to my blog so I may discuss this book. The book is called "Bamboo Rice & Seaweed" and is written by Owen F Mahoney. I suppose it's a bit obvious to ask if you have tried your local library, as they can sometimes get hold of out of print books.

I take it that your relative was on HMS Prince of Wales or was a PoW of the Japanese?

You might have a greater success on a WW2 forum, where someone may have the book, such as WW2 Talk and you may have greater success than amongst us old WW1 fogeys!
