The composition varied regularly, but at the beginning of each month the following divisions are listed. They are all Infantry Divisions Jan 18 68/33/25/153 Feb 25/153/131 Mar 153/131/26/34 Apr 26/20/4/168 May 20/4/25/29 Jun 25/29/52 Jul 25/29/52/59 Aug 29/59/120 Sept 120/18/157/10 DIC (Colonial) From 9/9 it is statted that many American Infantry divisions were attached to the corps) Oct 18/10DIC/26 6-10 Oct engaged in Battle of Montfaucon Nov 26/15/10DIC 18th infantry Division was commanded by General Andlaner. It contained the 35 Bde (32, 66 Infantry regiments) and 36 Bde (77th/135th Infantry) In January 1917 the 135th went to join the 152nd Division. In January 1918 the Division was engaged in instructing the American army 17/4 -24/5 engaged in the 2nd battle of Picardy 9/6/18 Battle of Matz resisting the German attacks on Ressons-sur-Matz and Marqueglise. 16th july 4th battle of Champagne, moving into 2nd Marne Attacks on Comblizy...crossing the Marne, Chassins, Vincelles 20/8 -18/10 17th Corps, under the direction of the American army Damloup sector 8th oct Battle of Montfaucon, attacking Hill344 and taking Haumont pres Samogueux and Ormont farm.
