Steven Broomfield Posted 12 July , 2010 Share Posted 12 July , 2010 Also (by the same author) the History and Memoir of the 33rd Battalion, Machine Gun Corps. S-H was the CO of said battalion. Both books are worth having, but I would suggest that any facts or claims contained therein are carefullly cross-checked. Reliability as an historian was not a noted quality S-H suffered too much! The M G book was published in a very limited number (1600, I believe), so commands a bit of a premium price. Not sure if it (and the other mentioned) are published by Naval & Military Press.
