I know this is a long shot but a friend asked me to see if I could find information on a relative of his. A trip to Kew is an imposibility at the moment . So I will post the few details of this man that I have below and if any body has come across this man in the past maybe you would be kind enough to pass on any details that you have.

surname:- Davies

forename:- Noel

Enlisted:- Sometime in 1916 (voluntarily after leaving the merchant marine)

Joined:- Iether the lancashire fusiliers or the Manchester regiment.

Home Town:- Salford

He was not a casualty and survived the war.

Brum
