Can anyone supply any details on the death of this officer.

2/Lt Colin Crisp Harwood was commisioned into the MGC from the 10th ALHR AIF on the 25th Jun 1917.

He is reported KIA 6th Nov 1917 but the is also noted in his AIF file that he was killed accidently while in the UK.

2/Lt Harwood was after his comision attach to the 2Bn MGC at Clipstone Camp Mansfield Notts on the 24th Aug 1917 as an Instructor of Lewis guns.

His grave is show as being at Mansfield Cemetry Nottinghamshire UK.

So his death by accident is the most likey.

He is on Officers Died as just "died". It doesn't mention dow or kia so possibly an illness or accident.
