Hello,

I wonder if anyone can recommend me any books on the 36th (Ulster) Div ?

As you can see from my sig I have a number of relatives spread througout the division but would prefer something that concentrates on the 107th Inf Brigade but otherwise a good general history of the division from its inception.

Also, does anyone know if there is a volume similar to the Everard Wyrall type books, detailing the movements of each battalion ?

Hi - see my websites below for various links to Ulster Div.

A sub-section of the Ballymena site is based around Capt. Cyril Falls's official history - you can buy print copy on amazon.

Also suggest - Philip Orr's 'Road to the Somme'

There are various battalion histories around - 'Three cheers for the Derrys' being a very good example.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I shall look at all of them.

Mick.
