Some time ago I whipped together a short bio on this officer as part of a list of our local fellows. I wonder if there is any easy way of placing him in any particular battalions. I know he was commissioned Second lieutenant with the Leinster Regiment on October 5, 1915, transfered to the Royal Irish Rifles as Lieutenant on June 5, 1916, and to the Royal Munster Fusiliers on July 1, 1917. He served at the battles of the Somme, Messines, and with the Army of Occupation in Germany. He was wounded in the leg, hand, and body on August 27, 1916.
