What in RE speak was the 47th D.S coyand where were they in 1918-1919 and what does the rank prefix mean in th RFA

D.S. probably stands for "Divisional Signal."

The "47th Divisional Signal Company," originally known as the "2nd London Signal Company," was the divisional signal company for the 47th (2nd London") Division.

The 47th Division ended the war in Lille, as part of the Fifth Army.
