archangel9 Posted 15 October , 2010 Share Posted 15 October , 2010 Am I correct in thnking that there are only two volumes in the series and that the effort to record the biographical details of all officers killed was then abandoned due to the numbers involved? keithmroberts Posted 10 June , 2011 Share Posted 10 June , 2011 Volume 1 can be downloaded from Archive.org at nil cost. Volume 2 doesn't seem to be free anywhere, but is available as a reprint from N&M, or on CD from S&N genealogy Supplies for £14.95, unless anyone know better? archangel9 Posted 11 June , 2011 Author Share Posted 11 June , 2011 Can't find Volume 2 free anywhere and the best price I've found so far is £25.77. So £14.95 from N&M looks like a good deal. John
keithmroberts Posted 11 June , 2011 Share Posted 11 June , 2011 I took a look at Vol 2 in my local reference library today, but unfortunately my man wasn't in it as he was an officer in an Indian regiment. I had been hoping to find a photograph. Like you, I have tried a few on-line sources with no noy on Vol 2. Keith
