Good evening All,

Wim's new book concentates on the fighting in the Argonne, from a German perspective. I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first as it's in Dutch, which I don't speak but I'm glad I did !

I can't comment on the written content but the print quality is excellent and within its 300+ pages there are literally hundreds of photos, many of which I hadn't seen before, together with standard map extracts and a series of diagramatic maps explaining the various actions. I've just got the book today and spent a lot of the afternoon leafing through it; whilst I'm in Belgium I hope that my in-laws will have the patience to translate some of the sections for me.

No doubt one of our Flemish forumites will review the written content more fully later but for now I would confidently recommend the book for the photos and diagrams alone.
