markinbelfast Posted 26 June , 2004 Share Posted 26 June , 2004 Can badges like these be researched from the number on the back?
bcerha Posted 26 June , 2004 Share Posted 26 June , 2004 Unfortunately I don't know Mark but I would be interested in any info you get on this one. By the way have you seen a similar only much larger badge displayed on the graves of old soldiers who were obviously members of the OCA but died out of military service? There are 7 of them in the village (civilian) cemetary at Tidworth in Wiltshire. If you are interested I shall try and get a picture when I am at home next week. Guest Hill 60 Posted 26 June , 2004 Share Posted 26 June , 2004 Mark - I asked this question some time ago ('cos I have one) but it appears you can't research them as the records aren't around anymore
Paul Reed Posted 26 June , 2004 Share Posted 26 June , 2004 As Lee says, sadly no records seemingly survive which you can use to trace these badges.
