My aunt's father, HEINRICH JACOBS, who was working at the Hotel Cecil, The Strand, London, prior to the outbreak of the Great War, was interned, we think, on the Isle of Man, but became ill and was repatriated, presumably before the end of the war.

Henrich came from Magdeburg and may have returned there.

Are there any lists of repatriated internees?

You can try the International Red Cross via their web site (if you are a relative they'll do a search, for a fee). They will produce a certificate of the information held. This process takes a long time, be prepared for a three or four month wait.

The Manx Museum (search the web for "Manx National Heritage" for web site/contact details) has much material on the camp at Knockaloe.
