Stephen Nulty Posted 23 March , 2011 Share Posted 23 March , 2011 2/Lt Edward McDermott originally served with the 11th Bn of the South Lancs before gaining a Commission to the 10th East Yorks in 1917. I am after two pieces of information; firstly, his MIC and CWGC entry note the award of an MC but I can’t find any Gazette or Times reference to it. Any help would be appreciated. Secondly, I would like to know what his unit were up to around the time of his death.
