Guest Robert Hahn Posted 10 July , 2004 Share Posted 10 July , 2004 Dear All, I have an interest in finding out which French unit that opposed the Germans at a quite peaceful time on the Western Front, July 1915, at Montauban, with an extended idea of reading their war diary for that month. I have already read the German war diary for this month and would like to compare their stories. Does anybody know where the French unit can be investigated? I cannot speak French and I am therefore willing to pay a war investigator (French?) to find where the diary is and what is says. Hoplophile Posted 13 July , 2004 Share Posted 13 July , 2004 Try the following two forums, which are the French equivalents of this forum: http://forum.europeanservers.net/cgi-bin/liste.eur?AFAssoci http://www.histoforums.org/histoforums/pgm/index.php Most of the postings are in French, but I've seen people succeed in getting answers to questions posed in English. Good luck!
