I believe that the two pictures are the same place, the Indian Cavalry are in Caterpillar Valley on the 14 July 1916 in preperation for the attack on High Wood. The second was taken by me last week on a farm track to the rear of Montauban, I think the original was taken from a slightly higher elevation and a little further back but this was as close as I could get due to the lay of the land.
