Doug Lewis Posted 11 July , 2004 Share Posted 11 July , 2004 Steve There is a whole section on MIC's look down the forum titles you will see it.It will explain your questions. Quote Chris Baker-On the MICs there appears a code against each medal that the man was qualified to receive. It takes the form like M/103 B1 page 329. This is a reference to the original medal roll, from which the detail appearing on the card - which is only a summary - appears. The rolls are also at the National Archives but are not available online. There is a process to convert the code that appears on the MIC to a National Archives document number, which will be in the WO329 series.
