museumtom Posted 11 July , 2004 Share Posted 11 July , 2004 Here in Ireland this morning I came across a large framed picture of two soldiers in ww1 uniforms today at a car boot sale. It was about 14 inches by 24 inches. They had the cap badges of the east and west surrey regiments. The frame was old but I could see that the back of the frame had new brown paper tape around it. The photos were original though. The first one was wearing a crusher cap and the other was wearing an ordinary cap. The belts they had were th leather type with the 's'buckle. No-one was interested in buying it. I only collect Irish regiments, so I left the picture there. is there any interest in this type of picture? Was I wrong to leave it there @ 45 euro? more than likely it will be there next week again. Tom.
