Guest Posted 11 July , 2004 Share Posted 11 July , 2004 charles martin sell was my great grandfather......aside from visiting the public records office are there any other means of finding out what corps.regiment or battalion he fought with....were soldiers identification numbers issued in batches...or did age or geographical location define corps or regiment that a soldier fought with...
