Found info on Private Andrew McEwan, but still a bit lost, card gives no as 19507 at top, then in space for Rgt no. 19509. Under this is another number 34772, when he transferred to Y & LR. Why would he move numbers from 19507 to 19509? Also, bit on card I cannot translate, in the Remarks section it gives his D of Wds as 28.8.16, which is ok, but under this is 'Comp (?) No. 19507.
