Congratulations Sandra and Tim. Well done.

Both of you have done an enormous amount of work on identifying the Diggers from the mass graves, and you changed my mind on the issue. The whole Fromelles project to identify the remains owes both of you a great debt.

Best Wishes

Chris

Tim has decided that the website www.fromelles.net has run its course for what it was designed for so it is no longer available. Tim has created a facebook page that can be found here.

Thanks for your comments Chris.

Even if our efforts had only aided in the identification of one soldier, it would have been worth it. To have assisted with the identification of a number of the others has been exceptionally rewarding.

Cheers,

Tim L.

I did notice that. In fact the absence stood out like a sore thumb. :angry2:

Is the book available yet? I can't find it on Amazon UK or Abe Books.

I don't blame you.

I've had a closer look at the page and it appears to simply be a template for a pre-publicity trailer and I suspect the boxes that need to be filled only allow one name for an author. If Ian and Greg Chappell wrote a book on cricket, I suspect only one of them would be on a similar page. Or it is a trainee/intern in a rush. Penguin are too professional a publisher to try and diddle a co-author out of anything.

As far as I know it wont be till next year with a launch possibly Anzac Day.

Bummer. I'll be back in Oz in Feb/March so I'll have to mobilise my Reserve Troops i.e. family to get some copies sent over.
