KILTY Posted 24 July , 2004 Share Posted 24 July , 2004 It would seem in all probability that men assigned to the various officer cadet battalions had some kind of distinguishing feature to their uniform. This assumption comes form the fact I have the brass titles of number 6 officer cadet battalion which belonged to my grandfather. Can anyone tell if the uniform differed in any other way during their officer training period. Kilty.

Terry Carter Posted 25 July , 2004 Share Posted 25 July , 2004 Hello again, This group from an Officer Cadet Battalion still have the other ranks service dress and the white band around their hats. I also have somewhere cadets wearing officer uniforms and still with the white band. I have a list supplied to a soldier who served in an Officer Cadet battalion detailng his uniform and kit requirements and how much each item costs. Would you like to see a scan?
